Job Description

We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer (CodeIgniter) with strong technical expertise in PHP and CodeIgniter frameworks, experience with database design and optimization, and the ability to mentor and guide junior developers.

This role is perfect for a hands-on professional who takes ownership of the entire development lifecycle and delivers scalable, maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy full-cycle applications using PHP CodeIgniter
• Handle system setup, configuration, and deployment independently
• Design and manage MySQL databases ensuring integrity and performance
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, QA, and PMs) to achieve project goals
• Guide and mentor junior developers, reviewing code and providing technical direction
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Ensure compliance with security and best coding practices

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with PHP and CodeIgniter
• Proven track record of building and deploying end-to-end systems
• Strong understanding of MVC architecture
• Proficiency in MySQL (database design, optimization, queries)
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for front-end integration
• Experience with Git or similar version control tools
• Ability to lead junior developers and ensure code quality standards
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
